Through his creativity and originality, Dali offers several lessons to enterprise innovators globally. First, never be afraid to experiment. Second, follow up your creative convictions with fast, decisive action. And, finally, be a pioneer not an imitator – even if that means short-term isolation from your peers. In the end, the sheer originality of your ideas will tell.

He was a “practicing Catholic and a nonbeliever” and “a liar who always told the truth.” An eccentric throughout his career, Dali used to say: “every morning upon awakening, I experience a supreme pleasure: that of being Salvador Dalí.”
The foremost exponent of cubism, Salvador Dalí showed a penchant for all styles of art he could lay hands on. From book illustrations to animated cartoons he left no art form untouched. Dali produced over 1,500 paintings in his career and his works ranged from the most academically classic to the most cutting-edge avant-garde. He was the ultimate innovator.
Dalí was a versatile artist, not limiting himself only to painting. In fact, some of his more popular artistic works included sculptures and other objects. He was noted for his contributions to theatre, fashion, and photography, among other areas. He also made an impact in film production with some well-remembered graphic scenes and the creation of some dream-like sequences.

I know very little about art - close to nothing actually - except what I like and what I dont, but I try to look at most things with an open mind (art is a personal thing isnt it) and have always liked dali's work ... I really didnt know he had done so much. A lovely article, thank you. Enjoyed the read.
