Innovate’s Editor-in-Chief, Al Kapoor, interviewed Vice Provost of Harvard University, Howard Stevenson, to learn more about how to tackle the challenges of resource planning and predictability.

Howard Stevenson defined the entrepreneurial way, not just through his academic research at Harvard, but also through his practice as an extraordinary senior executive, founder and board member. Howard brought us magical wisdom about how to think about investments. In addition, he has given us much insight into the unruly side of the same coin – early stages in the path of new endeavors.

Two decades ago, he was the first luminary to clearly identify the inevitability of any new endeavor – restricted resources. More recently, Howard, the visionary he is, has done it again. He has crystallized the struggle we all face everyday at the frontier – uncertainty about the future. He clearly sees how rapid change in today’s world is creating more urgency for us and we must act now. We must further hone our own predictive abilities.
