BMW has the innovation process deeply embedded into its manufacturing and management DNA. That is the key reason for its sustainable, decades-long success.

Innovation could be BMW’s middle name. In October 2002, the German automotive powerhouse was awarded the ‘Outstanding Corporate Innovator’ title by the Product Development and Management Association. This award is given to companies who demonstrate exceptional results in constantly creating new and successful products. It came as no surprise to anyone that BMW won it.
Talking about the BMW, chairman Stan Jankowski says: “BMW has shown a strong commitment to innovation as a strong strategic corporate driving force. By aligning extensive VOC research with outstanding technical and aesthetic design capabilities, it has developed a constant stream of award-winning new products and brand platforms in its respective industries.”
